John DeHoney

John DeHoney is the Executive Director of The Forum. John has worked in the field of nonprofit and association management for more than three decades. Earlier in his career, he served as a legislative advocate for the California Chamber of Commerce, which later led to a role as Executive Director of the California Economic Development Commission. Several years later, John and a colleague formed Turner DeHoney Associates with a focus on real estate investing. The firm’s main client was the Construction Laborers Pension Fund of Southern California, a $200 million investment portfolio where John served as Real Estate Investment Manager.
